The scholarship is awarded in one of the following areas: Visual Arts, theatre and stage art, music and dancing, singing, literature, film, photography, organisation of cultural projects in the city of Ełk.

Criteria to be met. The scholarship can get a person who:

·     is permanently registered in the city of Elk or works in the area of culture in the city of Ełk,

·     has taken or continues the artistic education, artistic or otherwise perfect artistic workshop

·     She attended (according to his level of education) in individual and collective exhibitions, concerts, surveys, competitions, festivals, tournaments, the Olympic Games and other events at regional, national or internationally, by obtaining significant results in them,

·     will the effect of their activities related to the implementation of the program scholarship residents of Elk in the form set out in the agreement, scholarship,

·     has an impeccable attitude.

Account is taken the achievements of creative and artistic, which includes the last three years.

In the year 2017 artistic scholarships received 11 people, for a total of EUR 43 000. zł.

PLEASE NOTE!
In order to enhance the verification conclusions Elk City Council adopted a new resolution on the detailed rules and procedures for granting scholarships in the field of artistic creation and dissemination of culture and the arts.

The new resolution introduces m.in.:

·     the obligation to recommendations, which issues the applicant a person with significant acquis in the field of culture and art

·     changed the pattern of the application for a scholarship, it currently m.in. a detailed description of the scholarship program (min. 1500 characters), which will allow verification of the legitimacy of financial support for people dealing with artistic creativity and dissemination of art and culture

·     also introduces an additional (fifth) option amount of scholarship-in the amount of $2.000.
