The local Government Of Elk has been working with non-governmental organisations m.in. by having the implementation of their statutory tasks.

On Thursday, 13 July 2017 President Elk Tomasz Andrukiewicz ełckich met with representatives of non-governmental organisations in order to sign the contracts for the implementation of the tasks of local government in the year 2017. In the municipality of Elk agreement signed the following organizations:

Culture and protection of national heritage:

·         Warmian-Masurian society SM-1000 PLN

Physical culture-emulation:

·         Foundation for the development of Sport "4all"-$ 2700

Summer vacation of children and youth:

·         A Roman Catholic Parish Church. . John Paul II-$ 4800

The total value of grants awarded is $8500.
