90% discount on purchase of municipal premises by tenants
The town of Ełk sells housing on preferential terms under the statutory financial priority for tenants. With permission to acquire the premises will be able to use only the tenant without debt charges for it. Anyone interested in buying an apartment can be lodged at the Office of the city of Ełk, pok. 114.

In accordance with the Council resolution Of Elk there is the option of buying back the dwelling of 90% of the bonifikatą.

The acquisition of the premises can be made by tenants who:

·         have a lease agreement concluded for an indefinite period,

·         do not have a of other residential properties

·         It is a stand alone residential premises.

With permission to acquire the premises will be able to use only the tenant without debt charges for it. In the case of the financial backlog, the procedure will be carried out after settlement of all obligations related to the town of Ełk.

The selling price of a dwelling can be decomposed into annual instalments for a period of up to 5 years interest rate payments determined by Elk City Council responds to 10% today.

In 2017 to the Office of the city received 46 applications for purchase of dwellings, including:

· 10 has been solved positively

· 30 proposals are in the process of settlement

· 1 the tenant gave up surrender

· 5 tenants surrender was refused because:

-debt fees,

-the building where the apartment is excluded from the sale,

-offices were not separate residential premises.

Total in 2017, carried out was 99 cases relating to the sale of dwellings to tenants. Were sold 50 dwellings, of that 40 of the premises where the tenants have requested redemption in 2016.

The value of housing sold represents the amount 6 379 300 zł, granted 90% discount was 5 741 370 zł, and 10% to the price represents the amount $637 930.

The budget received from the sale of the £ 431 830 dwellings, the rest amount IE. 206 100 zł, together with the interest due is received within 5 years, because 17 tenants have used the possibility of redemption of housing for installments.

When comparing the year 2017 to the year 2016, where sales totaled 73 dwellings, sales decreased by 31.5%.

Tenants interested in redemption of the dwelling may apply at the Registry Office of the city of Ełk, ul. Piłsudski 4 pok. 114.
