November 11, 1918 the year is a ground-breaking date in the history of Europe, but above all in the history of the Polish nation. After 123 years of captivity came with the coveted freedom – Poland regained its independence.

We encourage you to participate in municipal celebrations commemorating those events, but also to display the red and white flags and displaying other patriotic symbols. This will be not only a way to indicate distrust of patriotism, but also to present a tribute to all those who have contributed to the fact that today we live in Poland.

10 November (Fri)

·       h. 17:00-ECK-concert of the winners of the X Festival songs and Patriotic Songs

11 November (Saturday)

·    h. 11:11-"the course of Independence"-a distance of 3333 m (3 loops after 1111 m) through the streets of Elk after the marked route (start and finish will be located at the Town Hall, at ul. Pilsudski, the records in the Office of the professions. 9.30 – 11.00.

·    h. 12:00-St. Stephen's Cathedral. Adalbert-Holy Mass presided over by His Excellency Bishop Jerzy Mazur, a musical-a chorus of Counterpoint, under the baton of Raphael Sulimy

·    After the mass, a procession of the municipal brass band, a company of Polish Army Honour, pocztów flagship and delegations under the obelisk of Marshal Józef Piłsudski, before the Office Of Elk

·    Ok. h. 13:20-a by the Office of the city-Celebration commemorating the 99. anniversary of independence by Poland: speech of the Mayor of the city of Elk Thomas Andrukiewicza, bunches

·    h. 13:45-a by the Office of the City-Show drill full performed by 15. Giżyckiej Mechanized Brigade. Zawisza The Black

·    h. 17:00-ECK-Victoria Concert Zawistowskiej magical world of Opera (Victoria Zawistowska-mezzo-soprano, David Janowiak – tenor, Ewa Markuszewska-piano-free entry). Concert in the framework of art scholarship of the President of the city of Elk Thomas Andrukiewicza.
