Board of Mazury decided to grant EU funding for the implementation of the project "increasing the availability and quality of pre-school children from the town of Elk through the creation of new places of education pre-school at the municipal Kindergarten "Sun Eight" with 4 primary school No 9 ".

The aim of the project is to increase the participation of children in the education of preschool children from the town of Elk through the creation of 3 new branches pre-school in the city of Ełk in the municipal Kindergarten "Sun Eight".

These troops will pursue the educational basis for programme and ensure conditions for the comprehensive development of the child.

The value of the project is $828,660.52, including:

·         EU funding-£ 704,361.44

·         own contribution-$ 124,299.08

Project will be carried out until the end of August 2018.

The project is scheduled:

·       the creation of 70 new pre-school

·       modernization and retrofitting of the nursery

·       to ensure that the current functioning of the for 70 new places for children

·       Organization of workshops for parents such as: healthy nutrition, art workshops, workshops on the correct speaking

Project is co-financed by the European Social Fund under the regional operational programme of Warmia and Mazury for the years 2014-2020, priority axis 2: human resources for the economy, action 2.1: ensuring equal access to high quality pre-primary education.
