11 June 2017 (Sunday). 13:00-18:00 will be held the "Festival of large families-Senior in the family". In m.in. family entertainment muzykujących, outdoor games, fun and games for kids, competitions with prizes, dance workshops and vocal and fitness and Zumba.

Festival is organised within the framework of the project "development of cross-border social initiatives" in the framework of the cooperation Inntereg V-A, Lithuania-Poland 2014-2020, in partnership with the Lithuanian cities of Alytus and Verena.

Festival is an opportunity to promote cross-border Of large families, which allow cardholders a family of 3 + discounts in partner cities i.e.. Alytus, Varena, and Elk.

In addition, in the event will be attended by 50 people from Lithuania. They will be members of large families from the twinned towns.

In m.in:

·         performances of the families muzykujących, teams, "Lakeland", "Kalina" and "Open-air Band"

·         games, fun and games for kids,

·         face painting, bubbles,

·         inflatable water slides, swimming pool with balls, trampoline

·         contests with prizes for the whole family (karaoke, archery)

·         vocal and dance workshops

·         shows fitness and Zumba

·         cute gifts

·         fireplace with sausages

The total value of the activities carried out by the town of Ełk is ok. 1.7 million, including:

·         Ok. 1.44 million (85%)-funding from the EU
