Ideas for green areas on the river Elk-photos from the public consultations (Planning for Real)
on May 27, at 8:00 pm. 11:00 there was a consultation update for revitalization of Elk for the years 2016-2023, dedicated to the collection of comments and reviews locals ełckie Downtown on land Green River Elk, near the square of John Paul II.

A public consultation, the last scheduled in the framework of the project "the new Downtown Of Elk-formula for revitalization", were held on the square of John Paul II in Elk, and the main topic of conversation with the locals were ideas on management of the Elk River. Meeting with residents was supported by the center of the "station", which became the square with lounge chairs, homemade pastries and good energy to encourage residents to actively engage in the consultation process.

Weather conducive to the conduct of the talks. The meeting was attended by ok. 60 residents of Elk. Consultation participants eagerly spoke out about John Paul II Square development, stressing that it is an attractive and very aesthetic point "on a map of. Among the comments were concepts remove pipe district heating, running along the river Elk, that residents do not fit in the landscape and environment of coastal areas. Residents pointed out that green areas could be managed in such a way that residents and tourists can easily get (on foot or by bike) and pleasantly spend your free time. One of the residents proposed a sensory playground, which, thanks to an interesting forms, colors and location in a quiet part of the city could be an interesting place for the whole family. Residents have proposed to next to the already created pumptrack'u to prepare recreational infrastructure dedicated to users of rollers and scooters.

All notices, requests and ideas for new investments will be included in the report of the public consultation, which in July 2017, will be made available to the residents, who took an active part in the public consultation, as well as through the site www.elk.pl.
