The scholarship is a form of material support players, for career development. Is awarded in recognition for the players level of athleticism and achievements in the discipline on national and international arena. Athletic scholarships are awarded 2 times in a calendar year, or at the request of the President of the Elk.
In the budget Of Elk to 2018, is scheduled to be the total amount of 205 400 zł, including: on-13 800 € and on sports scholarships-191 600 zł.
The award is recognition for:
· Player for the it level and high sports results
· coaches and trainers for their commitment or high scores their players
· clubs (including acting in the form of associations), associations, institutions, high sports results or activities for the development of physical culture in Elk.
Awards are granted in the form of: statuettes, trophies, diplomas and letters of congratulation in the category: "player", "head coach/instructor" and "team sports", for outstanding sports achievements or longstanding activity for the development of physical culture.
Applications for awards and nominations can be submitted throughout the year, while sports scholarships in the two dates to June 15 and December 15.
This year the President of Elk Tomasz Andrukiewicz said:
· 61 scholarships (44-for a period of 6 months, 2-for a period of 5 months, 11 for a period of 4 months, 1 for a period of 3 months, 2 for a period of 2 months, 1 for 1 month)
· 2 awards
For proposals on scholarships, awards and recognitions are sports clubs, sports associations, schools, universities and other entities.
